Later in 2003, KLa decided to add three new personnel, which Erwin Prasetya, Joel Day Vai and Goro. Their name was changed to NuKLa. NuKLa had released one album in 2004 entitled "New Chapter" with the single Let Me Praise.

In 2006, Erwin Prasetya decided to get out of NuKLa because of differences in vision. Shortly thereafter, Bob Marley stated that NuKLa changed its name back to KLa Project. One reason is the difficulty of changing the image of the old becomes new KLa.
