History
The name comes from the initials edane Eet Sjahranie and Ecky Lamoh, which eventually became E and E. When formed in 1991, consists of Eet Sjahranie edane (guitar), Ecky Lamoh (vocals), Iwan Xavier (bass), and Dawn Satriatama (drums).
After joining together edane in releasing the first album, "The Beast" (1992), leaving edane Ecky as a vocalist, but edane not renamed. Heri Batara (Ucok) signed to replace Ecky, Heri Batara became the lead singer in two albums Edane, "Jabrik" and "Borneo" - but in the album "Borneo" Heri Batara got sick and was replaced by "Fatah Mardiko" for a few songs in the album. After two albums, the position was taken over by Heri Batara Trison Manurung, former vocalist of the band Roxx.
In mid-2003, re-experiencing turnover edane vocalist, on July 9, 2003 Trison resigned from edane, which followed news about the maze of his resignation. After Trison resigned, edane get a new lead singer, former member of the band that is Robby Matulandi Razzle, who used to bring the songs from Guns n Roses, rock music group from the United States. With the presence of Robby as a vocalist, brings back edane homage to hard rock music to highlight the individual skills of each personnel on their albums. According to Eet Sjahranie, replacement vocalist is often the case, because since the album Borneo, among the personnel there is an imbalance in terms edane demands edane music.
Edane has released seven albums, including The Beast (1992), Jabrik (1994), Borneo (1996), 9299 (1999), 170 Volts (2002), Time To Rock (2005) and Edan (2010), where the album 9299 (Aquarius Musikindo) is a compilation of new songs and old songs, with the song "To the World", "Listen to me", and "Rock On" which became a hit single. Old song that goes, among others, "Jabrik", "Follow" and "Borneo" is loaded with elements of ethnic Dayak.[Edit] Character of music
Edane genre is hard rock, although Eet prefer to call it rock. According to Eet and Dawn, the music creation process much departed from edane-rif rif played in the studio which later evolved into the composition and finally the song, this is why the cultivation of the album edane always long. For one album edane can spend more than a hundred shifts, considerable amounts of other musical groups.
Initiated since 1991, edane management has moved from hand to hand. When first formed handled by Ali Akbar, then moved on to Jimmy Doto, then to the Aci, and had also handled himself. Currently held by Heri edane management Batara with his Rock On Management.
Group edane never run a contract with Sony BMG. Once loose, they joined with Log Management, led by Log Zhelebour. Log Zhelebour Sjahranie Eet had known since 1989, when Eet still join the music group God Bless and spawned the album "Giant" (1989) and "What's News" (1997).[Edit] Formation
